Willie Eugene Ellis, Jr. was born August 28, 1966, in Bogalusa, LA to Willie Eugene Ellis, Sr. and Betty Zenon Winston. He was united to the Glorious Church Holiness in Poplarville, MS under the leadership of Elder Victor Robinson, Sr. He leaves to cherish his memories: one daughter, Loriell Ellis (Leonard Dorsey Jr.) of Lacombe, LA; his parents, Raymond and Betty Winston of Mandeville, LA; two grandchildren, Gaiven Ellis Amayia Batiste; four brothers, Randy Ellis, Otis Ellis, Michael Ellis, Raymond Winston jr.; one sister, Rachel Abrom; aunts, Josephine Denson, Alberta Washington, Grace Zenon, Marie Zenon, Sharon Ducre, Gayle Landor, Olive Zenon, Tanya Camper, Treva Williams, and Simone Faciane; four uncles, Deacon Roger Ellis, Willie Ellis, Sidney Zenon, and Thaddeus Zenon.
He was preceded in death by his father, Willie E. Ellis, Sr.; stepmother, Lillie W. Ellis; one brother, Shorn Ellis; grandparents, Mr. Floyd and Mother Mayonna Ellis, Mother Rosemary Foucha, and Mr. Albert J. Zenon; four uncles, Emanuel Ellis, Joseph Zenon, Sr., Alfred Zenon, Sr., and Clarence Zenon; five aunts, Edith Weeden, Mary Ann Gray, Cindy Ellis, Joyce Conerly, and Lillie Mae Wright; as well as his great-grandparents, Rev. Henry Foucha and Grace Foucha, Mr. Charlie Ellis and Josephine Ellis.

Relatives and Friends are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church, 851 Kleber St., Mandeville, LA on Saturday, May 11, 2024, at 12:00 PM with Visitation beginning at 10:00 AM. Interment to follow at Abita Cemetery #2, 22161 Level St. Abita Springs, LA.
