William Hardy "Party Hardy" Byrd Sr., 73, of Pearl River, La., passed away peacefully with his family by his side. He was a native of New Orleans, La. and a resident of Pearl River, La. Hardy was of the Baptist faith. He retired as a Beekeeper selling honey and as a Mechanic in the Automotive Industry. He loved to fish, cook, party, classic cars and tinkering with them. He loved never meeting a stranger, visiting with family and friends and traveling.
Hardy was preceded in death by his Wife, Darlene Alack Byrd, Parents, William David and Juanita Brooks Byrd, Brothers, David “Pug” Byrd and Hailey Byrd.
He is survived by his Companion, Jeannette Guillot of Pearl River, La., Son, William Hardy Byrd Jr. and wife Kimberly Phillips Byrd of Folsom, La., Daughter, Dana Elaine Walston of Covington, La., Sister, Nancy Byrd of Folsom, La., Grandchildren, Christian, Trenton, Blake, Alaina, Great Grandchildren, Trenton, Josie, Kayden, William and a host of family and friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
Arrangements are entrusted to Serenity Funeral Home of Covington, La.
