Vera Kay Thompson passed away peacefully in Slidell, LA. on Saturday, May 9, 2026, at the age of 81.  She was a native of McCurtain, OK. and a member of the Oklahoma Choctaw Nation.

Vera was preceded in death by her Son, Paris King, Parents, Reuben & Ruby Wallen, Brothers, Leonard (Sonny) Wallen, Jesse Wallen, Kenneth Wallen, Reuben Wallen Jr., Donald Wallen and Sister, Carolyn Sue Wills.

She is survived by her Husband of 50 Years, Robert Thompson, Daughter, Evanthia Clavdianos, Grandchildren, Presley King, Gavin King, Sister, Linda Hamilton (Barry) and many Nieces, Nephews, and extended family.

Vera loved to golf and plan family events.  She will be fondly remembered for the wonderful costumes she made and the wonderful times we had with her.  She loved her family dearly and was a wonderful Wife and Mother..
