Troy Russell Obituary

Troy J. Russell Sr. passed away on Friday, January 4, 2019, in St. Bernard Parish at the age of 47. Troy was born in New Orleans, LA and was a lifelong resident of St. Bernard. He worked his entire career as a Commercial Fishermen in lower St. Bernard Parish. He is the son of the late Warren (Puppie) and Sandra Elison Russell. Father of Troy J. Russell Jr, Nicholas (Nicky) D. Russell, Michael A. Russell, and Tory R. Russell. Brother of Paul S. Russell Sr. (Sherry), and Keith A. Russell Sr. (Jane). Paw-Paw to one loving Grandson Jaxsen Russell. Also, Troy was an uncle to several nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service will be held at St. Bernard Church on Saturday, January 19, 2019, at 2805 Bayou Road, St. Bernard LA 70085. Visitation starting at 10:30am with a Catholic Mass beginning at 12:00 noon. Burial Services will be private by the family at an undisclosed time.
