Thomas O. Miller passed away of natural causes on October 4th, 2024 at 73 years old. He is survived by his daughter, Ashley Miller; his beloved schnauzer companion, Fritz; his sister-in-law, Sandra Niemeyer; his nephews, Troy Taillac and Todd Taillac; his great-niece, Emily Taillac; and cousins Charlotte Cunningham and Brent, Bryan, and Byron Miller. He served in the United States Navy, followed by a career with Pan-American Life, where he met his wife, Anita. Upon leaving Pan American, he was a feeder driver (going by the moniker ‘Crazy Horse’ on CB radio) for UPS for 35 years.
When Tom was not working, he enjoyed building model airplanes and tanks, collecting die-cast cars, reading books on military history, watching The Three Stooges or classic creature features, learning how to play Xbox, spending time with Anita and Ashley, spending time with his friends from the Northshore Corvette Club, and spoiling Fritz. The family would like to invite all who cared for him to attend the Mass of Christian Burial at Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 501 Holy Trinity Dr., Covington, LA on Monday, October 14, 2024 at 12:00 PM with Visitation beginning at 10:00 AM.
