Theresa Ann (Moss) Rupp

With profound sadness, we announce the peaceful passing of Theresa Ann Rupp, a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, who left us on November 30, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. Born in New Orleans on August 31, 1945, to Claire Forester and Wilton Gasper Moss, Theresa was known for her compassion, quick wit, and unwavering devotion to her family.

An avid cook, passionate gardener, and bird enthusiast, Theresa’s warmth and humor touched everyone she met. She believed in treating every person with kindness and respect, teaching her family, by example, to see the good in others and to help without hesitation.

Theresa is survived by her loving children, Eric Rupp (Stacey Rupp) and Michelle Rando (Ray Rando), and her cherished grandchildren,

Jessica Kingston, Haley Rupp, and Ray Kingston. She also leaves behind her devoted sisters and brother-in-law: Patricia Wilson, Catherine Cangiamilla and Linda LeBlanc (James LeBlanc).

She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Louis Moss, her sisters Paula Moss, Elizabeth Pfister and her beloved husband Joseph J. Rupp III, with whom she shared 54 years of marriage filled with love and laughter.

Theresa’s legacy of love, laughter, and compassion will live on in all who knew her.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Mass at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church, 312 Laffite St., Mandeville, LA on Saturday, December 27, 2025 at 12:00 PM with Visitation at at 11:00 AM.
