Tammy Mary Carlisle

Tammy Mary Carlisle, 57, of Meraux, La., passed away on Tuesday, September 5, 2023, surrounded by her family.  She was a native of Flint, Michigan and a lifelong resident of St. Bernard Parish.  Tammy graduated from Academy of Holy Angels School, Class of 1983, and a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church.  She was employed as a Cook in the Restaurant Industry.  Tammy enjoyed cooking, dancing, music, watching the Saints and LSU.  She loved spending time with her friends and family, especially spoiling her grandchildren as she was affectionately known as “TT”.

Tammy is preceded in death by her Husband, Obediah Carlisle Jr. and Parents, Herbert & Helen Costello.

She is survived by her Sons, Lee Carlisle of St. Bernard, La., Shawn Carlisle and wife Candace of St. Bernard, La. Robbie Carlisle and wife Brittney of St. Bernard, La. Daughters, Ashley Carlisle and Ashly of St. Bernard, La., Kelley Carlisle and Josh of St. Bernard, La., 18 Grandchildren and 1 Great Grandson.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.  Arrangements were entrusted to Serenity Funeral Home of Covington, La.
