Sylvia Liuzza

Sylvia L. Liuzza, 87, of Covington, La., passed away on Monday, December 4, 2023, surrounded by her family.  She was a native of New Orleans, La., former resident of Chalmette, La. and a resident of Covington, La.  Sylvia was a member of St. Jane de Chantel Catholic Church in Abita Springs, La.  She retired from Retail Sales after over 45 years of service.  Sylvia enjoyed going to the casinos, travelling, reading and watching the New Orleans Saints.  She loved cooking for friends and family and spoiling her Grandson.

Sylvia is preceded in death by her Parents, Casmear and Olga Larrieu, Husband, Anthony Peter Liuzza, Son, Terry Joseph Liuzza, Brother, Casmear Larrieu Jr. and Sister, Linda Ann Larrieu.

She is survived by her Son, Peter Liuzza Sr. and wife Elizabeth of Covington, La. and her Grandson, Peter Liuzza Jr. and Michelle Lang of Chalmette, La.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date.

The family would like to thank Eagan Hospice and Staff for the loving care and compassion they gave Sylvia during her illness.
