Susan Ray Cousin

Susan Ray Cousin, 79, of Mandeville, La., passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 14, 2024, surrounded by her family.  She was a devoted parishioner of Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church in Mandeville, La.  Proud of her Irish heritage, Sue was a huge Saints fan who enjoyed playing Bingo, Canasta, reading, spoiling her grandchildren and Spike, her Beta Fish, as well as entertaining her many friends and family.

Sue is survived by her son, John Argus and his wife Erin of Jax Beach, FL; her daughters, Lindsey Cousin of Mandeville, LA., Kruzin Cousin Hamilton of Mandeville, La.; her stepson, Larry Cousin, Jr. of Baton Rouge, LA; her former husband, Larry Cousin, Sr. of Lacombe, LA; her  sisters, Kathy Zelden (Scott) of Mandeville, LA, and Peggy (Vic) Alford of Slidell, LA; her devoted grandchildren, Gabriel Hamilton, Boston Hamilton, and Rori Argus.

She is preceded in death by her Parents, the late Eldon & Lila Alford, as well as her sister, the late Elizabeth Alford.

A Celebration of Life in Sue’s honor will be held at a later date.

The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to Erika Pierce, Whitney Johnson, Judy Draughon, Jackie Gutierrez, the St. Tammany Parish Hospital ICU staff, and many others too numerous to mention.
