Steven “Bamm” Paul Williamson, 49, of Hammond, La., passed away on Monday, July, 1, 2024. He was a native of Metairie, a lifelong resident of Marrero, La. and a resident of Hammond, La. Bamm graduated from John Ehret High School Class of 1993. He was a member of the Christian faith and was employed by Vopak Industries as a Scheduler and Planner for the past 3 years. Bamm enjoyed camping, going to local sporting events, attending Mardi Gras and living life to the fullest. He loved helping friends and family. Bamm was born on August 14, 1974, and from that day forward, he touched the lives of all who knew him with his warmth, kindness and generosity. He was a devoted Husband, Father and Godfather that loved his family. Those who had the privilege of knowing Bamm will remember him for his infectious laughter, his unwavering loyalty and his unwavering love for his family and friends. He had a passion for life and a kind heart that knew no bounds.
Steven was preceded in death by his Parents, Johnny and Claudia Richardson Williamson and his Godson, Jiovanni “Jio” Dahl.
He is survived by his Brother, Darren Williamson of Covington, La., Goddaughter, Erynn Williamson of Covington, La., Nephew, Cameron Jones of Franklinton, La., Stepsons, Linest Parfait IV of Marrero, La., Jacob Parfait of Hammond, La., numerous Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and many friends and family.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
As we mourn the loss of Bamm, we take solace in the memories we shared and the impact he had on all of our lives. His presence will be deeply missed, but his spirit will live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to have known him.
Rest In Peace Bamm. May you find eternal peace and comfort in your heavenly chapter of life.
