Stephen Duck Obituary

Stephen “Steve” George Duck passed away on Wednesday, September 9, 2019, in Franklinton, LA of medical complications, at the age of 58. A resident of Franklinton, La. He was born in September, 1961 in Louisiana, to the beloved (late) Dolores Jenkins, Hubert Jenkins and George Duck. He is survived by one daughter Amanda Coon (Travis), his grandchildren McKinsey and Easton. Steve is also survived by his four sisters Jennifer Jenkins, Stephanie, Deidre and Tonya. Steve was a graduate of Covington High School and was Enlisted in the Air Force. He enjoyed his church activities and loved motorcycles and traveling. Friends and family are invited to attend a Memorial Service on Sunday, November 3, 2019 at Trinity Evangelical Free Church, 19380 N. 10th St., Covington, LA 70433 at 5 PM. Interment will be on Monday, November 4, 2019, 10 AM at Southeast Louisiana Veterans Cemetery, 34888 Grantham College Dr., Slidell, LA 70460. “Say not in grief ‘he is no more’ but live in thankfulness that he was” – Hebrew Proverb.
