Shirley Feldhaus

Shirley Rodriguez Feldhaus, age 71, entered into eternal rest on Friday, February 26, 2016. A native of New Orleans, Shirley and her husband of 29 years, Gary Feldhaus, relocated to Spring, Texas where they shared a home for 22 years before returning to St. Bernard Parish in 2014. Shirley and Gary shared two daughters, Keeley M. Williams (Denise) and Laura Feldhaus Newell (Bradley). Preceded in death by her parents, Manuel Rodrigues, Sr. and Marie Impastato, and her father-in-law Harry Feldhaus. Shirley was survived by her Mother-in-law, Marian Feldhaus. Shirley is preceded in death by her siblings Nancy Rodriguez Sikes (Rance) and Manuel Rodriguez, Jr.(Mary Ann) as well as her brother-in-law Fredrick Feldhaus (Josephine) and survived by Tom Feldhaus, brother-in-law. Shirley is the loving grandmother of Madyson “Mady” Newell, Aunt of Michelle Hardy (Jeff), Great Aunt of Brianna Hardy (Brian), and Freda Feldhaus McGuire (Thomas) and God mother of Jeffery Hardy, Jr. Shirley took pride in her role in continuing education as an Admissions Counselor for various higher education institutions.
