Shelia V. Pichon Parker entered this world July 27, 1952. Shelia was born to the late Hebert Pichon and Lois Dupart. She was a life-long resident of Slidell, La. and completed her education in St. Tammany Parish Public Schools. After a full life, on April 23, 2024, God welcomed Shelia back into His kingdom. Shelia will be remembered for her feisty spirit, warmth, and laughter. During her time on the Earth, she enjoyed giving the people she loved most a hard time (but also enjoyed making them laugh) and being the life of the party.

Those left to cherish her memory include her Daughter, Shentelle Nicole Parker of Slidell, La.; Grandsons, Thaddeaus Joseph Parker, Jr. of Savannah, Ga., and Ronnie Lee Jones, III of Slidell, La.; Sisters, Patricia Pichon, Denise Davillier, Phyllice Pichon, and MaryAnne Davillier (Marvin); Brothers, Hebert Pichon (Lutre), Ronald Pichon, Kevin Pichon (Michelle), and Hillary Pichon; Sister-in-Law, Helen Doucette; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

In Heaven, she will be reunited with the Love of her Life, Leonard Parker, Sr.; her beloved Son Thaddeaus Joseph Parker, Sr.; her Sister, Lois “Nuzie” Facaine (Wilson); her Brothers, Larry Laurent (Blanche), Van Laurent, and Gerald Pichon; and her cherished Parents.
