Shawn Lee Granier

Shawn Lee Granier, Sr. peacefully passed away Tuesday, October 22, 2019 in Gretna, LA at the age of 52, after an unexpected rapid decline in health. He was born in New Orleans, LA, and lived in Louisiana for most of his life. He was surrounded and supported by loved ones in the last days of his life on earth. Shawn was a grateful believer of Jesus Christ, who helped everyone who had a need. He enjoyed being out on the river working and fishing. He loved his family dearly, and always gave his very best. Loving husband of Susan Frickey. Son of Willis Granier, Jr. and the late Lilly Creppel. Devoted father of Sandra Granier, Shauna Buffinet, Shaun Granier, Jr., and Corey Granier. Brother of Sandy Granier, Rickey Granier, Willis Granier, Glyn Creppel, Darryl Granier, Dawn Luther and the late Donald Creppel. Grandfather of Arianna Buffinet, Logan Buffinet, Jersey Ancalade, MaKenzie Granier, Paisley Granier, Shaun "da turd" Granier, and the late Christian Buffinet. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a Memorial Service at The Church on Main, 701 Main Street, Columbia, MS 39429 on Sunday, November 10, 2019.
