Salvador James Papa, Sr.

Salvador James Papa, Sr. born on April 26, 1936 passed away on Jul 4, 2025  peacefully in his sleep at the age of 89 years old.

He is predeceased by his parents, Joseph and Louise (Moon) Papa and both sets of grandparents.

Sam is survived by his loving wife of 71 years and 11 months, Rosemary (Misuraca) Papa.  He is also survived by his four sons, Joseph, Sam, Jr., Victor and John (Angele) Papa.  His grandchildren, Victoria (Dennis) Walters, Johnny (Janie) Papa, Sophia Papa, and his great granddaughter, Lily Walters, his niece/Godchild, Catherine Rose (Michael Wilson ) Bordelon.  Sam is also survived by his inlaws, Tenie Misuraca Bordelon and the late George Bordelon, The late Silvie Lee (Warren) Groomer, Guy and Joann Misuraca and the late Silvestro Misuraca.  He will be missed by a host of nephews and nieces whom he cared for very much.  Sam had many gentlemen friends whom he loved like family, you know who you are.
