Rosemary Sproles Moreci, age 97, passed away peacefully on Friday, May 10, 2024, with daughter and son at her side, in the comfort of her Metairie home. She was born in New Orleans, LA and resided in Metairie, LA for the last 58 years.  She was a parishioner of Saint Angela Merici Catholic Church in Metairie, LA. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, August P. Moreci, her parents, John Barden Sproles and Beatrice Badeaux Sproles, as well her brother, J.B. Sproles.  For several years she was a member of NARFE 41 and enjoyed adventurous travel and bus trips to the Casinos.  Rosemary retired after 33 years from Standard Brands Coffee, Inc. (Hills Bros. Coffee Inc.) and was a member of the Quarter Century Club. She is survived by her beloved daughter, Cheryl Quave Cambre (Vidal), and son, Phillip A. Moreci (Anita);  her grandsons, Kerry Cambre, Sr. (Melisa), John Moreci (Rebecca); her numerous great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandsons. Rosemary will be forever loved and deeply missed by all that knew her. Private services to be announced and held at a later date.
