Ronald Albert Deniger

Ronald Albert Deniger, 88, of Abita Springs, LA, passed away on Thursday, October 19, 2023, surrounded by his family. A native of New Orleans, La., he moved to the Northshore in the early 80’s and a 20 year resident of Abita Springs. Ron was a member of the Christian faith. He was formerly the Security and Loss Prevention Director at Touro Hospital for many years. Ron and his wife Lynda owned RONLYN Construction Company which built homes across the Northshore until 2008. After retirement he realized he wasn’t made for doing nothing so he became the Distribution Manager for the Food Bank of Covington. Ron was obsessed with golfing, enjoyed fishing, and building bird houses for friends.

He was preceded in death by his Daughter, Lisette Deniger Lincoln and Parents, Raymond and Blanche Deniger.

Ron is survived by his Wife of 33 Years, Lynda Wurster Deniger of Abita Springs, La., Daughter, Melody Deniger Hassell of Talisheek, La., Son, Ronnie Deniger of Lacombe, La., Grandchildren,
Ashlee Hammond, Adam Deniger, Lauren Deniger, Alec Lincoln, Mia Lincoln, Great Grandchildren, Cas DiBartolo and Johnathan Hammond.

The family will receive friends at 10:00 AM on Saturday, October 28, 2023 with Funeral Services at 11:00 AM at Serenity Funeral Home, 20419 Hwy. 36, Covington, LA 70433. Rev. Mark Dufrene will officiate. Interment will follow at Abita Springs Cemetery, Abita Springs, La.

Following the services, the family invites you to break bread with them at Abita Lakes Estates Club House, 201 Clear Lake Blvd., Covington, La.
