Nancy Joyce Coull

Nancy Joyce Coull, 70, of Mandeville, La., passed away on Sunday, March 29, 2026.  She was a native of Irvington, New Jersey, and a resident of Mandeville, La.  Nancy was the love of her partner Jim’s life and very best friend for 37 years.  He will miss her forever.  She was also very much loved by her surviving brother, Jimmy.  She was an extremely dedicated and devoted mother to her son, Matthew, who sadly passed away in 2023.  Those who got to know Nancy were able to enjoy what a great friend she could be and will miss her no-nonsense approach to life.  She bravely fought her pulmonary fibrosis until the end and typically kept the diagnosis to herself to avoid any risk of being perceived as a burden to others.  Her work as a legal secretary was always more of a means to an end, than her identity.  However, she was great at her job, as she approached everything in life with a certain amount of perfection.  She is a great loss to this world and an unfortunate victim of a horrible disease.
