Michele Blanchard Hazlett

Michele Marie Blanchard Hazlett, 60, of Abita Springs, La., passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 7, 2025, surrounded by her family and friends.  She is a native of Harvey, La., former resident of Arabi, La. and a resident of Abita Springs, La.  Michele was a member of the Lutheran faith.  Michele enjoyed camping, attending NASCAR racing, her dogs Piglett and  Sarai, visiting with friends and family and spoiling her granddaughters.

She is preceded in death by her Mother, Linda Breaux.

Michele is survived by her husband of 38 Years, Mark Hazlett of Abita Springs, La., Sons, Matthew Hazlett and wife Robin of Arabi, La., Mitchell Hazlett of Abita Springs, La., Father, Gerald Blanchard and wife Carol of Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina, Sister, Yvette Johnston and husband Tom of Harvey, La., Granddaughters, Brynn and Reese, Step-Brother, Robert Kline and wife Denise of San Francisco, Ca., Step-Sisters, Nancy Rathman and husband Bill of Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina, Susan Aviles of Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina and numerous other family and friends.

The family will receive friends on January 18, 2025, at 2:00 PM with a Celebration of Life Service at 3:00 PM at Serenity Funeral Home Chapel, 20419 Hwy. 36, Covington, La. 70433.  Rev. Daniel Koyn will officiate.
