Maureen Katherine Roszkowski

Maureen Katherine Ritner Roszkowski passed away on Friday, November 11, 2022, at her home in Mandeville, LA surrounded by friends and family. Wife of 47 years to her late husband George Antoni Roszkowski. Maureen is survived by her son Michael George Roszkowski and daughter-in-law Carol Marie Roszkowski. Loving grandmother of Genevieve Ayana and Seán Michael. Beloved sister of Scott, Reynolds, Arlene, Susan, Mary Elizabeth, and Lorene. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Maureen resided in Louisiana for the past 30 years, after leaving her native state of New York to follow her husband around the country, and later, around the world. Maureen loved to teach, being an educator at heart and in profession. First teaching CPR and First Aid, then English and Reading later on, she would talk your ear off if you let her and had a life-long passion for learning. Maureen had an appreciation for good food and loved a good vodka on the rocks. She had an insatiable passion for hunting through antique stores for that one knick-knack that would finish off the home. Maureen is forever loved and will be deeply missed by those that knew her.
