Mary Dee (Smith) Sharp

Mary Dee Smith Sharp, 83, of Slidell, La., passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 26, 2024, surrounded by her family.  She was a member of the Catholic faith and the Eastern Star.  Mary attended college and became a Certified Nurse Assistant and worked for over 35 years in the Healthcare Industry.  She enjoyed her plants and making arrangements, QVC, couponing and shopping.  Mary loved taking care of others, always making sure her family had what they needed and spoiling her grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her Son, Michael James Sharp, Grandson, James Dale McKee, Parents, John & Mary Thompson Smith, Brothers, John F. Smith and Edward A. Smith.

Mary is survived by her Son, William “Joey” Sharp & wife Dianna of Pearlington, Ms., Daughters, Debra Mitchell & husband Mitch of Slidell, La., Judy McKee of New Orleans, La., Sister, Judy Rillieux of Slidell, La., Three Grandchildren, Glenn, Amanda, Matthew, Four Great Grandchildren, Taylor, Ashley, Andre, Lucas and numerous Nieces, Nephews and Cousins.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date.
