Mary Catherine C. D'Amico

Mary Catherine Castagnetta D’Amico passed away Friday, July 10, 2015 in Hammond, La. Beloved wife of the late Rosario F. D’Amico for 32 years. She is survived by her children Russell Mayeur, III (Stacey), and Andrea M. Williams (Carl). She was the daughter of the late Salvador J. Castagnetta, Sr. and Audrey Mae Boudreaux Castagnetta. Sister to Salvador J. Castagnetta, Jr., Junius (Jay) L. Castagnetta, and Martha Castagnetta Westeen. Grandmother to Meghean Mayeur, Joseph Boatman, Russell Mayeur, IV, Brian Boatman, Mason Villa, Madelynn Williams, the late Rylee Mayeur, Noah Mayeur, Leah Mayeur, and Cayden Williams.\r\n\r\nA longtime native of New Orleans Mary Catherine was a longtime member of the Loyal Order of the Moose’s Ladies Auxiliary rising to Senior Regent in the New Orleans Moose Lodge in New Orleans East. She was also a member of Les Papillions Sociaux Club of Metairie. She hosted St. Joseph Altars at her home in Chateau Estates for over 20 years and was a member of the Louisiana Army National Guard’s 204th Area Support Group. She was an avid reader and loved sharing time with friends and family.\r\n\r\n
