Leon David Blanchard passed away on Wednesday, May 27, 2026 in Everett, Washington. A native of Covington, LA and resident of Everett, WA. A long time resident of Mandeville, LA, Leon was a Chef for nearly 30 years. He leaves behind to cherish his memory his mother, Deborah Marshall, his brother, Gregory Batiste, Jr., his nephews, Dominick, Kalil and Lil' Leon, and a host of uncles, aunts, cousins, and friends. Leon is preceded in death by his grandparents and uncles. 

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Memorial Mass to be held at St. Peter Catholic Church, 125 E 19th Ave, Covington, LA on Wednesday, June 17, 2026 at 11:00 AM with Visitation beginning at 9:30 AM. Interment to follow at Mandeville Cemetery.
