Lenora Ann Jones Hadley, 85, of Chalmette. La. passed away peacefully on Friday, January 31, 2025. She was a native of New Orleans, La. and lifelong resident of Chalmette, La. She was a member of the Catholic faith. Len retired from the St. Bernard Parish Sheriff’s Office in 2001 as an Insurance Clerk. She graduated from Nichols High School in New Orleans, La. She enjoyed cooking, reading, going out to eat with friends, weekly dinners with her family, watching lifetime movies and attending Mass. She loved spoiling her Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren and dear friends, Linda Karcher and Debbie Bentley.
Len was preceded in death by her Parents, Maynard and Lita Jones, Sisters, Jackie McNab and Beverly Sensebe.
She is survived by her Sons, Barry Hadley and wife Monica of St. Bernard, La., David Hadley of Meraux, La., Ricky Hadley of Mandeville, La., Daughter, Sherri Meyers and husband Stephen of Chalmette, La., Grandchildren, Christopher, Rebecca, Chantelle, Jacob, Morgan, Connor, Ricky Jr., Great Grandchildren, Jordan, Joseph, Hollyn, Tre, Kyndall, Violet, and numerous Nieces, Nephews and Friends.
The family will receive friends at 10:00 AM on Saturday, March 8, 2025, with a Memorial Mass at 11:00 AM at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church, 2320 Paris Road, Chalmette, La. 70043.
Arrangements are entrusted to Serenity Funeral Home of Covington, La.
