Lavria Elizabeth (Karsolich) Heidel

Lavria “Lottie” Karsolich Heidel, 86, of Franklinton, La., passed away on Wednesday, February 21, 2024 surrounded by her family. She was born on February 25, 1937, in New Orleans, La. living many years in St Bernard Parish before moving to Franklinton, La. after Hurricane Katrina.  Lottie enjoyed spending time with friends and family, shopping on QVC and watching her shows on TV.

She is preceded in death by her Parents, Anthony & Marguerite Karsolich, Brother, Anthony Karsolich Jr. Sister, Jean Murphy and Son-In-Law, John Sandifer.

Lottie was survived by her Husband of 68 Years, John A. Heidel III of Franklinton, La., Daughters, Lavria Sandifer of Hammond, La., Kim Boudet and Husband Dennis of Franklinton, La., Toni

Naquin and Husband Mike of Pearl River, La., Son, John A. Heidel IV and Sheryl of Picayune, Ms., Brother, Louis Karsolich and Wife Charlene of Rose Hill, Ms., Sisters, Gaynell DiGiovani and

Husband Paul of Ca., Marguerite Ricke and Husband Bill of Franklinton, La., 9 Grandchildren, Michelle, John Thomas, Dennis, Melissa, Kristi, John V, Brandi, Britney, Brooke, 21 Great Grandchildren, 3 Great Great Grandchildren and numerous Nieces, Nephews and Cousins.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Sunday, March 10, 2024, at 2:00 PM at Zion Lutheran Church, 135 Rio Grande Street, Bogalusa, La., 70427. The family will receive friends at 1:00 PM. Deacon Harold Franativich will officiate.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Zion Lutheran Church in Memory of Lottie.

The family would like to thank all the Nurses of Davita Dialysis of Franklinton for nearly 5 Years of Excellent Care and love to Lottie and their continued care of her husband John. Also, all the Staff of Riverside Medical Center for being very helpful and caring.
