Laticia Broussard Alline

Laticia “Lou” Broussard Alline peacefully passed away on Monday, March 4, 2024 in Slidell, LA. A native of New Orleans and resident of Slidell since 1975, age 81 years. Loving mother of Marie Louisa Giangrosso and her husband, John, Nannette Alline Brewer, and Matthew Alline and his wife, Diana. Devoted grandmother of Paul III, Garrett, Victoria, Mary, Kyle, Anthony, Zöe, Randy, and Steven. Lou is preceded in death by her beloved husband of over 51 years, Paul Joseph Alline, Sr., and her son, Paul Joseph Alline, Jr.  Lou loved Christmas and holidays, but was renown for her great love of all things Mardi Gras; she was a charter member of the Krewe of Selene as well as a Red Hat Girl. She was a film buff, loved live theater, and was a Blues and R&B enthusiast as well. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Prayer Service at Serenity Funeral Home, 20419 Hwy 36, Covington, LA, on Thursday, March 7, 2024 at 10:30 AM, with Visitation beginning at 9:30 AM. Interment immediately following at St. Joseph Abbey Cemetery, 75376 River Rd., St. Benedict, LA.
