Karen Stansbury Landrieu

Karen Stansbury Lachney Landrieu passed away on Tuesday, March 12, 2024, surrounded by her loving family. A native of New Orleans, LA, she was born on August 31, 1951, to the late Joseph Lawrence ‘Larry’ Stansbury and Louise ‘Violet’ Stansbury. Before her passing, Karen was an executive assistant who worked for many law firms and, with her husband Kerry, was a member of the ‘Just Came Here to Dance Club’ of Slidell, LA. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by her loving husband of 25 years, Kerry Landrieu; her Loving Son, Nicholas Lachney (Andrea); her Devoted Grandchildren, Ronni and Riley; her Loving Sister, Vicki S. Boutwell (Steven); and her Fur babies, Duffy and Pokey, as well as many nieces and nephews.

Karen is preceded in death by her First Husband, Ronald ‘Ronnie’ Lachney; her Parents; and her Siblings, Lawrence ‘Larry’ Stansbury and Brian Stansbury.

A Memorial Service will be held for Karen at Serenity Funeral Home, 20419 Hwy 36, Covington, LA on Saturday, April 20, 2024 at 12:00 PM, with Gathering at 10:00 AM.
