Jose ‘Viejo’ ‘Joche’ Benjamin Canizales passed away on Friday afternoon, July 3, 2015 in Kenner at the age of 74. \r\nHe was born and raised in Honduras, Tegucigalpa and lived in Kenner for the last 15 years.\r\nHis loving smile and vibrant personality, his sweet, kind, and gentle heart will be missed by his family. \r\nLoving husband of Alma M. Canizales for 48 years. \r\nDevoted father of Ronny Canizales (Martha), Karla Canizales Alvarez (Mario), Jose Canizales Jr. (Marina), and Alma Canizales Turcios (Edwin). \r\nBrother of Aquilus, Norma, Antonio C., Alfredo, Blanca Ester, Ramon, Jorge, Marco Antonio, Dagoberto, and Ana Cristina. \r\n‘Viejo’ was a loving Grandfather to Jose, Pamela, Emily, Ana, Dennys, Carolina, Roseline, Edwin Jr., Ian, Jaelyn. \r\nJose loved all animals and a great admirer of mother nature. \r\n
