Jorge Alberto Gomez

Jorge A. Gomez, 46, of New Orleans, LA., passed away on Sunday, December 21, 2025, in a local hospital. He was a native of New Orleans and a member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in New Orleans. Jorge was a United States Army Veteran having served in the Iraq War. He graduated from college with a degree in Business Administration. Jorge enjoyed going to the library, working out at the gym and classical music. His passion was reading and spoiling his dog Puppy Love.

Jorge is survived by his Mother, Lilliam Gomez DePew of New Orleans, La.

Graveside Services will be on January 14, 2026, at 1:30 PM at Southeast Louisiana Veterans Cemetery, 34888 Grantham College Drive, Slidell, LA. 70460.  Rev. Jorge Gomez will officiate.

Arrangements are entrusted to Serenity Funeral Home of Covington, La.
