Jeanette "Davi" Davida (Bolingham) Battistella

Jeanette Davida “Davi” Bollingham Battistella passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 19, 2025, in Bush, Louisiana, at the age of 72 surrounded by her family.

Born in New Orleans, La. and raised in Jefferson, La., Davi formerly lived in New Orleans, La. and resided in Bush, La.  She dedicated over 30 years as Office Manager to the Department of Ecology and Evolutionary Biology at Tulane University, where her commitment and kindness left a lasting impact.

Davi was an avid gardener, animal lover, and was remembered for her selfless generosity.  Above all, she was deeply devoted to her family.

She is preceded in death by her Parents, Charles Bollingham Sr. & Virginia Morton Bollingham, Sister, Wilda G. Bollingham, Nephew, Jacob E. Bollingham.

She is survived by her Husband of 49 Years, Albert P. Battistella of Bush, La., Daughter, Bridget L. Battistella of Bush, La., Step-Son, Brian P. Battistella of Bush, La., Siblings, Estelle B. Orellana, Charles Bollingham Jr. (Pandora), Judith B. Bingham (Donald), James Bollingham Sr., along with many Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews, Cousins, extended family and friends who will miss her dearly.  Davi also loved her fur babies Hazel Grace, Murphy Valentine, Bridie Blue, Fred, Noah, Luna, Hunter, Dorcas Gailen, Mavis Claire, Thackery, and Binx.

A private gathering will be held at a later date per Davi’s wishes.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Northshore Humane Society, 20384 Harrison Avenue, Covington, La., 70433.

Arrangements are entrusted to Serenity Funeral Home of Covington, La.
