Jason David Swindler passed away on Tuesday, August 15, 2023, at the age of 48 in Arabi, Louisiana. Jason was born on January 23, 1975 in New Orleans and was a life-long resident of St. Bernard Parish. He is survived by his children, Ariana Nicole Swindler (Daniel) and Ayden Nicholas Swindler, his mother and stepfather, Michele Sensebe and Kenneth Blum, and his father and step-mother, David and MaryBeth Swindler, brother, Kevin Blum (Natalie), and sister, Kaitlyn Blum. He was “Uncle Jay” to nephews, Jacob Giroir and Benjamin Blum, and nieces, Aubrey and Layla Giroir. Jason is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins. He is predeceased in death by his son, Jason David Swindler, Jr., his long-time partner, Carmen Ramirez, his grandparents, Constance Corne Sensebe and Earl Maranto, and Leon Eugene and Junerose Swindler. Jason was a kind soul, an amazing craftsman and loved by his family and friends. He will be deeply missed and is now resting in peace.
A private service and burial will be held at St. Joseph Abbey.
