Janice Anne Brundrett

Janice Anne Brundrett, 80 years young of La Ward, TX went to be with her Lord on Monday, June 19, 2023, after a long struggle with diabetic related illnesses. Janice was born in Port Lavaca, TX and was the only child of John Lawrence Charnetski and Alberta Ruth Charnetski Schackeral. Janice was the devoted wife of Ray B. Brundrett, her loving husband of sixty-one years. They were married on December 12, 1958, and blessed with six children: Pamela Bourgeois of Seattle, WA, Debbie Monie’ and her husband Brian of Birmingham, AL, Kimberly Ellis of Loveland, CO, Robbie Brundrett and wife Lori of Houston, TX, Rodney Brundrett of Mandeville, LA and Regan Brundrett and wife Shannon of Mandeville, LA. Proud Grandmother of Alexander Monie' of Washington DC, Maxwell and Travis Brundrett of Houston, TX, Juliette Brundrett of Shreveport, LA, Rory and Remy Brundrett of Mandeville, LA. Janice was a proud homemaker, caring for her children while Ray worked offshore and later operated the family business of “Brundrett Diving & Salvage.” She also worked in a dental office as their children went off to college and played an active role in the “Texas Federation of Women’s Club.” Janice was deeply loved and will be forever missed by all the knew her.
