James Prine Obituary

James Noe “Jimmie” Prine passed away peacefully in Abita Springs, LA on Saturday, February 15, 2020. Native of Independence, LA, age 81 years. Beloved husband of 47 years to Laura Ann Navarre Prine. Loving father of James Edward Prine, Judy “Lynn” Prine, Frank “Darrell” Winebrener, Robin Lee Hebert, Johnny Clement Winebrener and his wife Carolyn, Huey “Paul” Prine and his husband Scott, Rick Joseph Winebrener and his husband Chuck, and Joshua Mark Prine. Devoted grandfather of 20 and great grandfather of 17, and loving uncle to many nieces and nephews. Jimmie is preceded in death by his parents, William and Della Prine, his sons, William “B. J.” Prine and Mark Allen Prine, his brothers Huey Prine, Alton Prine and William “Jr.” Prine, his sisters, Lucille Prine and Norma Prine, and one grandson, Kurt Wayne Hebert. Private services held.
