Jacquelyn Marie (Calamia) Catalanotto

Jacqueline “Jackie” Catalanotto born May 25, 1937, in New Orleans, LA died on September 20, 2024, at her residence in Covington, LA. Jackie was employed at Mobile One and was a volunteer manager for the Covington Food Bank in Covington, LA for 16 years. Devoted wife to the late Salvador “Sam” Catalanotto and John Louis Castay. Devoted mother to Eric Castay (Angela Ledet) and the late Susan Catalanotto Weidmann, Stephen Catalanotto, and Linda Catalanotto. Grandmother to Jason Castay (Shannon Castay), Brooke Blanchard (Brad Blanchard), Cori Catalanotto Shows (Bert Shows), Scott Weidmann, Samuel Catalanotto (Celina Catalanotto), the late Michael S. Catalanotto, and step grandchildren Suzanne Ledet Kolb, and the late Myles Ledet (Ethel Ledet). Great-grandmother to Jaxon and Jacob Castay, Lucy and Ellis Blanchard, Makayla Glass (Blake Glass), Emma Shows, and 2 great great- grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on September 30th, at St. Benedict Catholic Church, 20370 Smith Rd., Covington. Visitation starts at 9:00am with the Mass beginning at 11:00am.
