Ishande Adaya Yancey

Ishande Yancey passed away peacefully on June 22, 2024 in Covington, LA. She was born on August 16, 1987 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and lived in Mandeville, LA most of her life.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory her loving children; Kim'mya Yancey, Johniese Bennett, Darryl Yancey, Clermont Watson Jr., and Corey Hammond Jr.; her loving mother, Sharon Tyler, and her father, Darryl Yancey Sr., of Milwaukee, WI; her devoted siblings, Darlisia McGowan, James McGowan, Darryl Yancey Jr., and Derlisa Yancey. She is also survived by her 13 devoted grandchildren, as well as her 7 uncles and 5 aunts. She is preceded in death by her devoted grandparents, Ada Tyler, Calvin Wilson, Dorene Yancey, and Roy Scott.

Ishande graduated from Northshore Technical College with her degree in Childcare Development

A Service of Homegoing will be held on Wednesday, July 10, 2024 at 2:00 PM, with Visitation beginning at 11:00 AM. Committal Service and Burial will be held in Milwaukee, WI on Saturday, July 13, 2024.
