Ida Taylor Obituary

Our beloved matriarch, Ms. Ida Mae Taylor, peacefully transitioned on October 21, 2025, at the age of 91. She was born in New Orleans, Louisiana, and lovingly raised in Donaldsonville, Louisiana.

Ms. Taylor built a life rooted in faith, hard work, and compassion. She worked for many years in Denver, Colorado, where she served as a Hospitality Manager and later as a Private Household Manager for several families who came to cherish her kindness, warmth, and dedication.

A devoted Jehovah’s Witness for over 52 years, Ms. Taylor faithfully served Jehovah God and found great joy in sharing the good news of His Kingdom. Her unwavering faith, gentle spirit, and loving example touched everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.

She is lovingly survived by her daughter, Linda Mullins of Baton Rouge, Louisiana; two sisters, Brenda Johnson and Virginia Thompson; her grandchildren, Cassandra and Asahel; and her great-grandchildren, David, Ellis, Taylor, and Anya. She also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family members whom she loved dearly.

Ms. Taylor was preceded in death by her parents, Stella Boudreaux and Walter Taylor, and her sisters, Earnestine Harris and Stella Reynard.

Her life was a testament to love, humility, and steadfast devotion. She will be remembered for her faith, her strength, and the warmth she shared so freely with others. Her legacy will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
