Gladys Perry Jacobs

Gladys Perry Jacobs, 69, of Metairie, La, passed away on Friday, August 4, 2023, surrounded by her family.  She was a native of New Orleans, La. and a lifelong resident of Metairie, La.  Gladys was a member of St. Edwards the Confessor Catholic Church where she was very active.  Gladys enjoyed playing Bingo, spoiling her Grandchildren and visiting with family and friends. She is preceded in death by her Husband, Rocky Jacobs Sr., Parents, Laurier Perry and Rosalie Costello, Brothers, Raymond Perry, Robert Perry, Sisters, JoAnn Frichtric, Gerry Perry and Josie Huey. Gladys is survived by her Sons, Rocky Jacobs Jr. of River Ridge, La., Armando Jacobs of Metairie, La., Jason Jacobs of Metairie, La., Grandchildren, Luke Jacobs, Meadow Jacobs, Rory Jacobs, Sisters, RoseAnn Spindel, Mary Hannan, Diane Lewis, several Nieces, Nephews and Cousins.

The family will receive friends on August 8, 2023, at 10:00 AM with a Christian Mass at 11:00 AM at St. Edward the Confessor Catholic Church, 4921 W. Metairie Ave., Metairie, La., 70001.  Rev. Joseph Tran will officiate.  Burial will be at Garden of Memories Cemetery in Metairie La.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family.
