Georgia Kay (Staub) Cassidy Hoffman

Georgia Kay Cassidy Hoffman (76) of Covington, LA passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by loved ones on Sunday, December 7, 2025.

She was born in Grand Rapids, Michigan in 1949 to George Nicholas and Lorraine Evelyn (Kelly) Staub. She attended Riverdale High School, graduating in 1967. She studied cosmetology at Jefferson Beauty College, working in salons and eventually opening and running her own. In the late 90's, she obtained her real estate brokers license, and served the Northshore region for many years.

Georgia is survived by her husband, Louis Hoffman; her children; Kelly, Alta, and Frederic 'Fritz' Cassidy II, as well as her three grandchildren, Cole, Callie, and Cadence, and her great grandson, Van Frederic. She is preceded in death by her late husband, Frederic Cassidy. 

Forever in our hearts, Georgia Cassidy Hoffman will be dearly missed, but always remembered.

Please join us in honoring Georgia's legacy at Serenity Funeral Home, 20419 Hwy 36, Covington, LA on Wednesday, December 17, 2025 with a Visitation from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Private Inurnment to be held at Ponemah Cemetery, Bogalusa, LA.
