Frederick James 'Freddie' Muntzner, Jr.

Frederick James "Freddie" Muntzner passed away on April 4, 2026, in Covington, LA at the age of 65 years. He will be remembered for his warmth, his love of music, and the deep faith that guided his life.

Frederick is lovingly remembered by his son, Frederick “Eric” Muntzner, III, his father, Frederick, his brother, David , his sister, Denise, his brother, Michael, and his wife, Jane, his sister, Jacqueline, and her husband, Richard. He leaves behind his cherished nieces; Vanessa, Michelle, Shannon, and Olivia, as well as his nephews, Christopher, Richie, and Christian, and Michael and his wife, Valerie. Frederick also held a special place in his heart for his great-niece and great-nephew, Sienna and Michael.

He will be fondly remembered by his aunts, Jean and Diane, and his cousins Billy, Deneen, Alex, Lucy, Angel, Stephanie, Rhonda, and Yvonne, along with many extended family members and dear friends whose lives he touched.

Frederick had a deep love for music and found great joy in singing. He was especially drawn to the beauty of the beach, where he treasured peaceful sunrises and sunsets. His faith in Jesus was a cornerstone of his life, bringing him strength, guidance, and comfort.

He is now reunited in heaven with his beloved mother, Margaret, and his godson, Danny.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Memorial Service at Serenity Funeral Home, 20419 Hwy 36, Covington, LA on Saturday, April 25, 2026 at 12:00 PM with Visitation beginning at 10:00 AM.
