Dorothy A. Stefanik

Dorothy A. Stefanik, 88, of Bush, La., passed away on Thursday, May 2, 2024. She was a native of White Castle, New York, former resident of Kearny New Jersey and a resident of Bush, La. Dorothy was a member of St. Michael the Archangel Mission Catholic Church in Bush, La. and was a member of the Carmelites. She retired as a Teacher’s Aide teaching pre-school children after over 20 years. Dorothy enjoyed playing Bingo, ceramics, singing in the church choir, travelling, and spending time with family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her Husband, Julian Stefanik and Parents, Luka & Carrie Gresuk.

Dorothy is survived by her Sons, Michael Stefanik & wife Jeanne of Bush, La., Kenneth Stefanik & wife Peggy of Kearny, New Jersey, Sister, Joan Bobowski, Grandchildren, Thomas, Joseph and Vincent.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, May 14, 2024, at 10:00 AM with a Memorial Mass at 11:00 AM at Serenity Funeral Home Chapel, 20419 Hwy. 36, Covington, La. 70433.  Father Alex Guzman will officiate.
