Dora Ann Clavier Berns peacefully passed away at home in Lacombe, LA on Tuesday, August 12, 2025. Beloved wife of over 48 years of the late James P. Berns, Sr.. Loving mother of James Berns, Jr., and Charlene Ann Berns. Devoted grandmother of Kayla Couvilier, Cassidy DeForest, and great grandmother Adreanna, Rylan, Antonio, and Mariah. She is preceded in death by her daughter, Gina M. DeForest, as well her grandsons, Ryan L. DeForest and Calvin W. Couvilier, Jr.

Dora will be remembered as a devoted and loving mother, grandmother, and friend to everyone. She will be dearly missed, especially for her kindness and her caring ways.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Memorial Mass to be held in her honor at St. John of the Cross Catholic Church, 61030 Brier Lake Dr., Lacombe, LA on Saturday, August 16, 2025 at 11:00 PM with Visitation beginning at 10:00 AM.
