Debra Rexroad departed this life on October 25, 2014 in Baton Rouge at Our Lady of the Lake Hospital at the age of 59. After living most of her life in Champaign, Illinois and after a short stay in Winston-Salem, North Carolina she decided to move back to Bogalusa. She was employed by STARC and thoroughly enjoyed working with her clients. She had a special compassion for people. She was the daughter of the late Daniel and Luella Henrietta Sapp. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Timothy Sapp. Deb was a loving mother to Justin Rexroad (April) and a devoted grandmother to Astrid and Oliver Rexroad. In addition to her son and his family she is survived by a sister, Donna Phelps (Bobby) of Bogalusa, and a brother, Danny Sapp (Gwyn) of Greencastle, Indiana. She was the aunt of Ed, Lisa, Laura, Lorraine and Robert. She is also survived by aunts and uncles, numerous cousins, nieces and nephews and many wonderful friends.
