Darin “Jug Head” Neil Sharpe, 52, of Abita Springs, La., passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 7, 2025, surrounded by his family. He was born in Covington, La. and a lifelong resident of Abita Springs, La. and a resident of Bogalusa, La. Darin was of the Christian faith and he was employed by Hard Times Transportation as a Truck Driver. He enjoyed Motor Sports, spending time with family and friends and spoiling his grandchildren.
Darin was preceded in death by his Mother, Darlene Alack Byrd, Paternal Grandfather, Alan Sharpe, Maternal Grandparents, Charlie and Marie Alack.
He is survived by his Wife, Nancy Hopkins Sharpe of Bogalusa, La., Sons, Dillon Sharpe and Fiancée Kaitlyn of Bush, La., Dalton Sharpe of Pearl River, La. Daughter, Deana Sharpe and Fiancé Blake of Pearl River, Father, Neil Sharpe and wife Sember of Branson, Missouri, Step-Father, Hardy Byrd of Pearl River, La., Step-Father, Raymond J. Cedatol of Abita Springs, La., Brothers, Derrick Sharpe and wife Selena of Cumming, Georgia, Brandon Sharpe of Branson, Missouri, Travis Cedotal and wife Ashley of Abita Springs, La., Caleb Sharpe and Fiancée Casey of Branson, Missouri, Sister, Monique Lynn and husband Austin of Branson, Missouri, Grandchildren, Kinsley,, Kash, Laikyn, Harrison, Ryker, Barrett, Bentley, Avery, Ellie, Eli, Nieces, Nephews, Cousins and Friends.
A Celebratiion of Live Service will be held at a later date.
