Corben "Benny" Roberto Houston

Corben “Benny” Roberto Houston, passed away peacefully on May 7th, 2024, after a short battle with brain cancer and tumor removal surgery.  Benny loved to spend time with his family and play video games with his friends.  Benny was a warm-hearted 17-year-old who wanted nothing more than to take care of his family and recently expressed interest in a career in healthcare.

He is survived by his father Edward, mother, Christina, brother, Christopher "Cubby",  sisters, Catherine and Camdyn.  Also survived by his grandmother, Kathy "Yaya", stepfather, Patrick, along with multiple aunts, uncles and cousins.

Benny would have been a senior this upcoming fall at Mandeville High School.  His family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to pediatric brain cancer research.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Our Lady of the Lake Roman Catholic Church,  312 Lafitte Street, Mandeville, LA. 70448, on June 8, 2024, at 1:00 PM Saturday.  The family will receive friends at 11 AM at the church.  A life that was cut far too short, he will always be missed, loved, and forever remain in our hearts.
