Cheryl Margaret (Smith) Sharp

Cheryl Smith Sharp, 76, of Sun, La., passed away on Wednesday, September 6, 2023, in a local hospital.  She was a native of Mandeville, La. and a resident of Sun, La.  She was a member of Fitzgerald Methodist Church, Covington, La. and the Mandeville Boaters Association.  Cheryl retired as a Flower Designer in the Florist Industry.  She enjoyed working with flowers to make people smile, beekeeping and spoiling her grandchildren.

Cheryl was preceded in death by her Parents, Stirling & Eunice Smith, Brothers, Wally Smith and Michael Smith.

She is survived by her loving Companion, Hardy Byrd of Pearl River, La., Son, Bayne Sharp and wife Brooke of Enon, La., Daughters, Angel Sharp of Covington, La., Sharli Schultz and husband Jody of Grand Bay, Ala., Brothers, Wayne Smith of Covington, La. Dickie Smith Tyler Town, Miss., Sisters, Joan Smith-Taylor of Mandeville, La., Barbara Smith of Covington, La., 9 Grandchildren and 2 Great Granddaughters with numerous Nieces, Nephews and Cousins.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date.  Arrangements are entrusted to Serenity Funeral Home of Covington, La.
