Charlene Willa Geraci peacefully passed away with her family at her side on Monday, March 9, 2026 in Pearl River, LA. A native of New Orleans, she taught Elementary education as well as Gifted and Talented in St. Bernard Parish for over 35 years. 

Charlene is survived by her loving daughters, Shelley Weiskopf Naquin(Scott) and Heidi Weiskopf Gommel(Joshua), as well as her devoted grandchildren, Lillian Naquin, Reese Weiskopf, and Ryder Gommel. Charlene is also survived by her sister, Carmella Geraci(Judy Courreges) as well as many nieces and nephews.

Please join us for a brief Graveside Service for Mom this Thursday, March 12th, 2026—her Birthday—at 11:00 AM at Crawford Cemetery, 65059 LA 41 Spur, Pearl River, LA. Per her wishes, it will be a short 15-20 minute farewell, where we’ll say a final goodbye and wish her a Happy Birthday. Afterwards, everyone is welcome to gather with us at her sister’s home nearby 64577 Contessa Dr, Pearl River, LA.
