Chardae Faith Poynter passed away Wednesday afternoon, August 24, 2016, at the age of 23. She was born in Bogalusa, and resided in Mandeville and Covington for most of her life. Chardae was an honor student at Delgado Community College, studying nursing. Daughter of Nancy Bright and Steven Poynter of Louisville, KY. Granddaughter of Jimella Bright and the late William Bright and Barbara Griffin and the late James Griffin. Sister of Steven Marquic Bright and wife Gertrude. She is also survived by 4 nieces and nephews.
