Celia Calico Bonnet Sellers

Celia Calico Bonnet Sellers, 84 of Abita Springs, LA., went to meet her maker Jesus Christ on Sunday, December 21, 2025.  She was a native of New Orleans, La. and a resident of Abita Springs, La.  Celia graduated from St. Joseph High School, Class of 1959, in New Orleans, La. and is a member of St. Jane de Chantal Catholic Church.

She was preceded in death by her Beloved Husband Wilfred “Bill” Sellers, Parents, John A. Calico & Claire Cassisa Calico and Daughter, Johnelle Claire Bonnet.

Celia is survived by her Son, Richard “Ricky” Bonnet Jr. and wife Jennifer of Abita Springs, La., Brother, Nicholas Calico, Sister, Catherine “Teeda” Calico Ebeier, Grandchildren, Jeremy, Nicholas, Madison, Matthew, Maggie, Great Grandchildren, Olivia and Jeremy Jr.

A private Celebration of Life will be at a later date.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN. 38105.
