Cayla J. Marshall

Cayla J. Marshall, 19, of Slidell, LA., passed away on Friday, February 20, 2026, in Slidell, La. She was born May 28, 2006, in Nashville, TN.  Cayla previously attended Slidell High School and is a member of the Christian faith.  She loved spending time with family and friends, trying new foods, late night car rides and listening to music.  Her favorite was spending time with her daughter which was her world.

Cayla was preceded in death by her Maternal Grandparents, David Ferguson Sr. & Darline Ferguson.

She is survived by her Daughter, Eden Marshall, Father, Hermon “Mitchell” Marshall Jr., Mother, Dawn Marshall, Sisters, Briana Marshall, Aaliyah Marshall, Elissa Marshall, Graylynn Marshall, Brother, Farron Marshall, Paternal Grandparents, Hermon “Mitchell” Marshall Sr., & Linda, Paternal Grandmother, Tondry Marshall and numerous Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and friends.

A Celebration of Life Service will be on Saturday, March 21, 2026, with the family accepting friends at 2:30 PM with a Service at 3:30 PM at Northshore Church, 310 Kensington Blvd., Slidell, La., 70458.  Pastor Michael Cooke will officiate.

Arrangements are entrusted to Serenity Funeral Home of Covington, La.
