Carrie Louise (Cronin) Ansardi Obituary

Carrie Louise Cronin Ansardi, 90, of Madisonville, La., passed away peacefully on Friday, March 8, 2024, surrounded by her family. She was a native of Brookhaven, Ms. a former resident of St. Bernard Parish and Gonzales, La. Carrie was of the Mormon faith. She was the former Owner of Ansardi’s Bar & Seafood in Chalmette, La. Carrie later in life cared for the elderly by working in nursing homes and then was a waitress at Bill’s Seafood in Metairie, La. She enjoyed dancing, cooking, spoiling her grandchildren and visiting with family and friends.


Carrie is preceded in death by the father of her children, Bernard Ansardi Sr., Parents, Lester & Bertha Mae Cronin, Brother, Jim Cronin, Sisters, Lee, Millie, Billie, Bobbie, Robbie, Mickey, Jackie and Grandson, Chad Michael Caron


She is survived by her Daughter, Tammy Winkler & husband Pete of Madisonville, La., Son, Bernard “Ben” Ansardi Jr. & wife Greta of Gonzales, La., Grandchildren, Brandon, Ashley, Paul, Great Grandchildren, Jaelynn, Liam and Brooklynn.


The family will receive friends at 12:30 PM on March 18, 2024, with a Celebration of Life Service at 2:00 PM at Serenity Funeral Home Chapel, 20419 Hwy. 36, Covington, La., 70433. Brother Ed Cronin will officiate.
